Make professional estate planning accessible and affordable for all Californians. Too many families can't afford attorney fees of often several thousand dollars, so they skip estate planning entirely, leaving their families vulnerable to statutory probate attorney and executor fees ($26,000 on a $500,000 estate). We're changing that.

California-Specific Documents

Our documents are specifically designed for California law. I personally review every trust, which is prepared to meet California Probate Code requirements and includes California-specific provisions for community property, real estate transfers, and probate avoidance.

Attorney Review Included

Every single document is reviewed by me before delivery. LegalZoom no longer sells attorney review as a one-time add-on: attorney access only comes bundled into their Premium subscription, which renews yearly, and the attorneys are independent. With Living Trust California, attorney review is included in the base price. No hidden fees. Optional add-ons are listed up front.

Lower Cost

By combining technology with personal attorney review, we keep the cost well below a traditional attorney's fee. Traditional attorney: often several thousand dollars. LegalZoom: $549 individual / $649 couple for the Premium plan with attorney consultations, or $399 / $499 for the Basic trust with no attorney (as of September 2026). Living Trust California: $400-$500 complete with attorney review included.
